Best Christmas Sweater Party

Our friends Liz and Steve Smith hosted a Christmas Sweater Party this past Saturday. Above is a picture of the three winners. Lights, tassels, embroidery, and sequins were a must. Chris (on left) is actually wearing his grandmothers sweater. Thanks Liz and Steve for such a great party. You were amazing hosts!
Here's a recent pic of Adelyn. Ashley and David got this adorable outfit for her, and it will soon be a capri outfit. She is growing like a WEED. I had to put away a lot of her 0-3 month clothes. We are on to 3-6 month, and she's only 2 months old. She definitely does NOT get her height from her mum. Love you all and 9 more sleeps until Addie gets to see Canada. :)

Adelyn - 7 weeks

Our little angel is developing some serious cheeks!

I know she doesn't really play, but I let her look at her toys at least twice a day. She LOVES it! She just coos and talks away. Below is a pic of Addie in her snugli. As she gets older, Stef and I have come to realize that we have to cart her around the house with us in order to get things done.

Adelyn - 6 weeks old

Addie is now 6 weeks old and starting to smile and coo. So much fun! Her favorite time to talk is while getting a fresh diaper!
Addie really likes "playing" with her jungle mat (her pants are a tish big). She does a little tummy time every day on it, but really enjoys laying on her back and looking at the animals. Norm enjoys sitting right next to her too! He especially likes the giraffe.
We watched the Canuck vs. Wild game Friday night at my brother's condo. Go Canucks!!

Interfaith Sleep out 2008

Ben sure does love giving Addie kisses (we also like initiating it for pictures). Pretty funny, he also got a hold of her pacifier last night, took it out of her mouth and put it in his. He stood up after giving her another kiss, and he was happily sucking on a pink pacifier. :)

Last night, the Knight's hosted a bonfire/sleep out for Interfaith. The organization is raising money for homeless people in our area. Ashley, David, Sarah, Trevor, Liz, Steve, Nick L., and Jay all braved the cold (it got down to 1 degree Fahrenheit) last night and slept in tents.

Roomie Shower, Thanksgiving, & Grandma visits

My roomies had a shower for Adelyn and I last weekend. We had such a fun morning eating good food, opening presents (she has so many adorable clothes), and our conversations were always entertaining. Thanks ladies!
We had Thanksgiving at my parents house this year!
Norman sure loves to give his little sis' lots of kisses!
Great Grandma Wanda came to visit this weekend. Adelyn is lucky enough to have 4 great grandparents. Grandma got lots of cuddle time in before she had to head back to Merrill.

Addie - 5 weeks old

Here are a few recent pictures of sweet Adelyn. She is coming up on 6 weeks old!! It is crazy how fast the time flies. She is an absolute joy. She is now sleeping close to 6 hours, and then another 3 hours at night, so we actually feel pretty refreshed when we wake up in the morning. Her favorite things to do lately are coo, smile when we tickle her feet, and pee and poop on the changing table while dad is changing her. She is also LOVING her swing. She is getting REALLY excited to visit Summerland at Christmas. It's only like 25 more sleeps away! :)

Addie's first Canuck game!!

Addie watched her first Canucks game with Daddy this week. Stefan was able to somehow buy cables, attach them from our computer to our T.V., and be able to watch the game from our couch. The work a Canuck fan goes to, so that a game is not missed!

The picture below is how I found Addie one morning. Stef and I swaddle here every night before she goes to bed. This is how not to swaddle a baby (they are not supposed to un-swaddle themselves in the middle of the night).

Adelyn Rae's Baby Dedication

Posted by Picasa
Addie was dedicated on November 9th at our church Cross of Glory Baptist. It was wonderful being able to have both our parents there. Addie wore a mixture of old and new for her dedication outfit. The shoes were from Grandma Meyer, dress from Nana Sue, bonnet from Great Great Grandma Esther, and her blanket from Great Grandma Meyer.
