No more swaddle & the new Pups

Addie has successfully had her first full week of not being swaddled. The first night was tough (she woke herself up about 4 times). She absolutely loves going to bed and always wakes up in a new position and corner of her crib.

Champ and Molly, the new pups of the group. Champ is an Irish Setter and belongs to Anna and Nick. Molly is a Lab/Beagle mix, a Labie (spelling???). They played non-stop for around 3 hours. Mostly hanging out under the coffee table.

Paul and Nikki's Engagement Party

Our good high school friend Paul is getting married this Labor Day in California. We got to meet his fiancee, Nikki, for the first time. She's such a sweetie!

Big Girl

Addie can officially sit up, unassisted for more than 10 seconds! :) She balances by holding onto and/or playing with her toes. She loves her new sun hat, thanks great grandma and grandpa.

Easter 2009

Addie and her Grandpa and Papa!!!
Nana and Addie! Her bow barely stayed in during church. She's got about 10 hair strands totally, just enough to get a bow in.
Addie was pretty lucky to be able to celebrate Easter Sunday with both sets of grandparents. My parents and Stef's parents both came to our Easter Service at Cross of Glory. My Grandma Martin made a delicious Easter dinner after church.

Addie went to her first Twin's game a couple weeks ago with Nana and Papa. Stef's parents came in for a visit during Easter week. It was so much fun to see them and Addie sure LOVES her Nana and Papa. She can't wait to come to Summerland for a long visit this summer. We have been practicing swimming lessons in the bathtub already.

We only got a few pics of Addie and her Easter outfit. We'll have to grab a few from Grandma & Grandpa to post.

Addie and her size 12 month swimsuit. She's only 6 months, but it's WAY too small. We took a funny video of this process that we'll post later. I may have to pass this adorable swimsuit onto Lillian Pohl. :)

Canucks vs. Wild

Canucks won in overtime, 2-1!!! We got to wave the Canadian flag two times (No one appreciated either time, especially not the last one). Our friends Nick and Marie went to the game with us and Addie watched the game with Grandma & Grandpa at home.

Adelyn - A little over 5 months

Grandma Meyer knitted Addie her "tulip hat". It's so cute!! The tulip part sticks straight up making her look kinda looks like a character from a Dr. Seuss book.
